Extremely sharp acceleration

Different types of injection units are available allowing to reach more than 5G acceleration and to shorten by 60% the cycle time. TOYO machines offer the sharpest acceleration capability in its class in the industry.

Less heat... less wear... less grease

The size of the ball screw allows more balls in the recirculation system reducing wear per ball and keeping their temperature at a low lever.

The new design of the ball screw nut keeps grease only where it is needed allowing to consum 95% less grease than usual systems.

High-repeatable injection mechanism

The injection unit is equipped with low friction linear guides, so that the variation of back-pressure can be reduced to half (especially on models starting with a B or a J).

The sliding resistance is reduced to 1/3 of sliding resistance of machines where the bearing case is supported by the guide bars and bushing (see picture left).In addition, by avoiding the uneven weight distribution of the injection unit, the injection process has gain in precision (less vibrations).

As a result, the screw and barrel alignment is improved and is less sensitive to temperature variations (environment or machine itself). This will guarantee the high repeatability of the plasticizing process.

Stability of weight of the injected product

The Si series is provided with the SRC-II metering system as standard. This system ensures uniform metering density. The screw imposes optimum pressure on the melt immediately after metering. This process makes the melt density even and brings about constant product weight in every moulding cycle. This is a considerable advantage for any thin wall applications.

Originally designed screws and barrels

Fully utilizing TOYO's own see-through heat barrels technology, screws and barrels for Si-series have evolved further. The new heat barrels give ideal flow rate, thermo-stability, heat volume and temperature for respective resin processing needs.
